Kathy Anderson is the proprietor of this lovely country "vacation resort". She has a lifetime of experience with dogs. In all aspects of caring for, raising and showing dogs. Over 5 years experience as a veterinary assistant and over 20 years as a Registered Nurse has given Kathy ample experience to care for the health and welfare of your special friend.
The building is new, bright and clean. There is a 1500 sq ft indoor heated playroom as well as 6 outdoor play areas. Outdoor play areas have 8ft perimeter board fencing so dogs do not get their paws and toenails caught in chain fencing. One-half of the indoor sleeping areas are partitioned off with puck board so if your friend has not been to a kennel before or is shy, they do not have to sleep with other dogs staring at them. Some dogs, just like us humans, like their own private space.
Special diets, including raw foods, and medications are not a problem. TLC is always in abundance and never costs extra. Playing ball in the playroom or going for walks for the exuberant youngsters or just hanging out with some good conversation and lots of hugs and kisses for the senior citizens. Group socializing is an important aspect of the Kotar experience.
Not all dogs have experienced long term separations from their families. Here at Kotar we understand that. With an ample supply of TLC, playtime and socializing our guests are happy, healthy, content and willing to come back and we are happy to have them!
